Pattex Chemoprén is a contact adhesive with a wide range of uses, it glues leather, PVC, EVA foam, wood and other materials. Its huge advantage is the resistance to temperature and joint stress.
Instructions for use:
1. The glued material must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. When gluing smooth materials, such as metal or plastic, you increase the strength of the connection by additionally roughening the surfaces.
2. Mix the adhesive thoroughly before use.
3. Apply a thin layer with a notched trowel, brush or roller to both surfaces. Allow the adhesive layer to air out for approx. 15 min., then place the two glued parts together and press firmly.
4. The strength of the compression is decisive for the strength of the joint, not the duration of the pressure. You will reach the final strength after 24 hours.
